Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Becca, My insurance is Blue Cross Blue shield of New England, Its also HMO. I new that they covered it because In my new patient meeting that I had to attend there was like 2 reps from Blue Cross here in MA. One told me it would be covered no questions and then she told me that the open surgery would be approved quicker the Lap. But I am happy Im staying with Lap because I got approved with no questions asked by the insurance.... Like I said Damn that was quick!

I know the recovery from the lap and the risks are much less so since you don't have to have the open lap is suppose to be "easier". Then again it is all in one's perspective. Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Good i had LAP and it was ok, all my little wholes are looking good. The one right at top of my tummy is kind of sore maybe, because of my bra. Now the tummy tuck and all that i'm worrying about that PAIN.... Will your insurance cover the tummy tuck etc, a year after? |

Height: | Good luck sweetie...and I had mine lap and love it. I don't really have any problems with the scars. Whenever I show someone my lil scars they are really impressed by how small they actually are. Always stand up for yourself and what you want and you will be fine. Janae |
