I saw that you were our "newest member" and wanted you to know we'd love to hear from you...and get to know you... We are all in different stages....some ar pre-op...or just looking into WLS (weight loss surgery)... some are post op....and we have a few Dr.s on our board, all are here to answer medical questions you might have as you are going thru the process. (Although, ultimately - you'll want to stick to your surgeons protocol...and consult them when you have any major questions or issues!) Some of us are early on in our journey...and others have been on the journey for a year or more.... Me personally, I am almost 5 months post op...and about .3# from being 1/2 way to my WL Goal!! It's amazing how much better I feel...and all the co-morbidities that are no longer issues in my life...this is one of the BEST feelings! Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.  |
