They have misdiagnosed him twice now and over the weekend she had her son to the ER... this morning she is takeing her son back to the doctor and most probably to an EMT.....He has horrible soars in his mouth and throat (almost ulcer like). Origianlly they treated him for strept, then the Hand foot mouth desease (viral coxackie virus) and still 7 days is not better so there thinking now its not that virus. So lets show our dear friend the love! JUSt wanted to let SHELLEY know we all have her and her son in our prayers during this time! (((((HUG))))) shelley !!!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | well i spoke to shelley and they didnt make any decisions today as they think maybe he is improveing slightly. HE will be checked out tomorrow and they will decide if he needs to be admitted to the hospitol or not based on if he is improveing so lets keep them in our prayers more!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. My son is doing a bit better today. He is finally able to get some fluids down. He still is not able to eat, he hasn't ate since last Tuesday. Before today he wasn't even able to swallow his saliva. He was running fever that I couldn't get to break either. The pain was so bad the doctors put him on Oxycodone, a very strong pain medicine. They gave him some new medications yesterday and I think it is helping. As Lisa said, he was misdiagnosed twice. But now they seem to think what he has is the herpes simplex type 1 virus. Basically what you have when you get a fever blister. The doctors seem to think since he has never been exposed to the virus before now that it made it more severe on him. They also said that most children are exposed to it before kindergarten. How he managed to slip passed that, I don't know. Again I want to thank all of you for your prayers.
