| Super Moderator  |  Hey, Lisa, thanks for your thoughts. It looks like the quake hit north of Tokyo, and we didn't feel anything here. The strength of the tremor also was a 3 at most on a scale of 9, so, not strong enough to cause any real damage. At least, not here, we're so used to this level of quakes.  I have no intention of bringing up anything political here, but what we are concerned most deeply about right now is North Korea toying with nukes.  That nation is very dangerous under a deluded and despot leader, and the announcement that NK will take UN sanctions as a declaration of war on them is very disturbing. I sure hope China and Russia will very firmly put their feet down, and put real pressure on that country, since they are the only two countries that can knock any sense into its head, and make NK come to its senses.

| Super Moderator | Thanx. It's a situation that can get yours and my country together in a mess, as well as all the other Asian and European nations, the rest of the world, too. I sure hope the UN will be able to act strongly, and set an example that will send a strong message to Iran as well not to mess around with nukes. (You realize, as a Japanese, I am firmly against ANY nation holding on to nukes as a weapon, and as a tool for negotiations, especially to get their way. It is one weapon that will affect not only those who are directly bombed, but the later generations coming from the bomb victims, and also those who live in the lands contaminated by the radiation. It is a weapon against the human race. Enough said, I'll shut up here.)
