Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Oooooh What a DAY!! I had a wonderful day... We started off going to the Atlantic Mall...and returning a black velveteen jacket that was too big...and then to DSW shoes to find boots! (I found 2 great prs. that I put on hold in case I found something better in the city later. - I'm going to pick them up later today....I didn't find anything else.) Then off to the city to Macy's! What a dreamy place to be at Christmas! The windows near the front door were spectacular....w/ sound effects! They had these speakers....wow, the first one I saw had a huge animated Lion...with other animals...then a elf's studio, with a huge eye looking thru the crack....and a HUGE tree spinning sideways with fairies decorating it w/ fairy :::twinkles:::....we didn't go down to the other 3...but on the 34th side street they have models of "Miracle on 34th street".....soooo wonderful. I can't wait to see the movie this year!! Then up to return my Baby Phat (size 20) jeans....I couldn't believe it but they took them back!! Someone at Lane Bryant said they would...so I tried it! That gave me $90 more to spend later at Lane Bryant! Our final stop in Macy's was Santa...and Ooooh, what a fun time...Isabella did sooo well... here are our pictures...(one b4 we left the house...then some of things you see in line as you wait to see Santa!) So....then, off to Lane Bryant where I discovered I'm no longer an 18/20 on top...but a 14/16!! WOW....I'm officially an 18 on bottom, but 14/16 on top. I bought 3 very cute sweaters....1 dark size 18 jeans....size 18 brown pant....and a 16 skirt! LOVE everything. I think I'm about set for winter....as long as I have those boots. (none of them are snow boots - but say waterproof...and I'm gonna buy some spray to help them be protected in the water/snow)~ Then Russ came to LB and got Isabella to take her home...and I went to Sephora to get my fun Bare Escentuals - Shake your Tail Feathers - and a smashbox eyeliner palate! WHAT FUN!!! All in all...I did soooo well b/c I had "real woman dollars" and then another "$20 off" coupon...plus that return $$....I only spent about $75 of the $100 my dad sent me for the 100# lost! Still have some in stash...and did I tell you my surgeon's office sent me a $50 gift card - that I still haven't spent! Oooooh! Now I have some $$ for Christmas shopping too!! After all the shopping - I stayed in the city to go to a women's night at my church called "Pure Life" - our pastors wife spoke about "Celebrating the Season of Life you in!" Wow...did I need to hear this...b/c most of the day when I was shopping I was thinking about all the fun clothes, shoes, etc that was fun when I was designing for a design house rather than freelance. I had a place to be... meetings... gatherings ... travels... etc. I got wrapped up in all the memories - forgetting that it really isn't that glamorous! I have such a wonderful life now to be able to stay at home with 'Bella - and I'm my own boss...do what I need to do. It was sooo great to get my vision refocused on my wonderful season...and taking the assessments of my personal life benefits - right now in this day, this season of my life!!! WOW, what a great evening...and I met a huge handful of new friends!~ Life is great! ANY WAY....thanks for being excited for me....and wanting to hear about my adventures...My birthday sure was stretched out! Loved it! Remember...if you can possibly get to NYC for Christmas YOU MUST go by Macy's ..... it's amazingly magical inside and out!
