SURGERY DATE: I am new to the forum but just wanted to join in and say I have a surgery date of 12/19/06. I had some pre op test done yesterday (blood work, ekg, chest x-ray and breathing test). I am very excited, a little nervous also. Hope to hear from everyone and stay in touch before and after surgery.
I saw your note on "Walkbyfaith's" surgery celebration...and thought you deserved one of your own!!! Congrats on your surgery date!! YOUR surgery will be exactly 8 mos. after mine to the date!!! I will be sure to think of you that day....
Until then...post often - lets get to know each other.... I'm Deborah...I'm 38 (just had a birthday this week!)...and am a little over 7 mos. post op! I live in NYC...and am a designer by profession...but am right now settling my family into our new home...and home with my precious 3 yr. old daughter - who is sassing me right now! LOL. Well...I'm thrilled for you....I'm so excited for my new life....I love to have new people join this FABULOUS LOOSERS CLUB!
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
