Happy New Year everyone! Here is to a GREAT and healthy one. NO MORE DIETS!!!!! YES!!!!! That is one off my usual new year resolution list! I feel great about that! God is good! This is going to be the best year ever but not the last still more and even better to come

Happy New Year RR friends. We are staying in this year. Nursing a cold, so probably will be an early night. But hope everyone is safe and enjoying themselves this New Year.

The other day on Craigslist I found a guy trying to get rid of some shelving material - free! So I got together with him and came home with a truckload of stuff!! I spent yesterday and most of today down in the basement working on some projects for the boss. I built a large set of really heavy-duty free-standing shelves in the pantry for storing canned goods and such on. Then I put up some wall shelves in the downstairs office and we unpacked a bunch of boxes and put the books on them (we've only been here 3-1/2 years - it's time to unpack a bit!!) And I built her a nice laundry center. It's a table, heavy duty construction, 5' x 2-1/2' table top for folding, with a storage shelf underneath for supplies and a couple of hanger bars across the top back for empty hangers. It's right by the dryer, so clothes come out of the dryer, get folded or put on a hanger, then hung on a bar against the other wall. And I painted the whole thing pink for her!

Right now I'm relaxing and waiting for the Tylenol to kick in!

Peanut's asleep in her recliner by the tree with the house lights out and all the Christmas lights twinkling and flashing and an orange cat in her lap pinning her down. (I sure spoil that woman!! )

Maybe that should be my resolution next year - keep her spoiled!!

Uneventful evening, Midnight is now past. I will be heading up to get some sleep soon. Hope that everyone had a pleasant evening and stayed safe and healthy for tonight and that everyone has a wonderful 2010!!

Happy New Year everyone! Just became 2010 in the land of famous potatoes. They're lighting fireworks outside but I just flew back from Michigan today and I am exhausted! Stayed up long enough to say Happy New Year, now I'm going to bed!

Well it's the 1st Jan 2010, a new year, a new decade, i am sure it is going to be a great one, i will be in a new decade too when it is my birthday in August as it will be my 50th .... God knows i feel neither wise enough or grown up enough to be 50 but .... that's what i am going to be .... went shopping at Matalan to get Lisa a few jumpers and bought myself a couple of tops in the sale in a SIZE 22.....down from a size 24/26 already !!!! I also bought a gorgeous purple dress in town for my son's wedding in Sept, i bought a size 16 hope i have not been toooooo optomistic, i can't wait for my son's wedding as when my daughter got married in 2007 i was a size 28/30 and just a fat blob and what should have been a wonderful day for me was blighted by the fact that i knew i looked like a blimp, and i felt like a blimp and i hate the photos of me.... in fact i think i ruined the photos .... this time will be different :-)
