Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Far East, everyone!!
Actually, it's already past 3:00AM of January 1, 2007 here.

So, here's what I was doing the moment the date and year changed

With a friend at at classy and cozy Jazz club, Little Manuela.
I came home around 1:30AM, then decided to make the trek to our neighborhood shrine, which is only a couple of minutes from here, to see if there were still people around, and I could make the first visit of the year (for my father, who was a Shinto faithful), and to my surprise, found that the end of the line of people was still at the bottom of the steep steps that lead up to the shrine permises. So I ended up finally coming home well past 2:30.

May you all be able to have a very good Year of the Wild Boar!!

Doc and all-
Boy this year has had so many changes and I am looking forward to this new year and all it will bring. Now that I can move around I have a lot of plans for the future. Happy New Year too all!!!

Happy new year to everyone. Today is also my 5th wedding anniversary.

Hubby and I planned to spend the night out, we wanted to eat one of the yummiest chocolate fondue in an Italian restaurant but unfortunately there is a strong storm outside and the public transportation/taxi's are almost dead so I think we gonna ditch the idea and spend the night at home!.

So instead we celebrated at home with the kiddo's, I cooked him a meal we enjoyed it.

I hope everyone is having a happy New year's eve.
May year 2007 bring all your dreams to come true. I wish everyone a healthy happy 2007

Happy New Year to EVERYONE!!!

I had been asked to dinner at an elegant private club but as things turned out, I'm spending a quiet evening with my DSL. To tell you the truth, this sounds much better to me.

I'm going to make a seafood dish with calamari, scallops & shrimp, probablywatch a movie and then the ball drop at Times Square.
I attended the bash at Times Square once and I must say, I'd rather be watching then attending.

Have a safe, happy, wonderful ushering in of the New Year.

Doc you are a party-animal! You are always out on the town and looking fabulous! I loved your Christmas hair-do btw. Hanadi you are just drop dead gorgeous.

Happy NYE all! I can't believe 2007 is upon us. If all goes as planned I am only 10 days until surgery!

I usually sit around and think about my weight and what I am going to do to lose it. This year is different!! This is going to be a fantastic year. I look forward to getting out with the family and enjoying my new health in 2007!!
