I am looking forward to spending it with my wife, 2 children (20 and 25) and my 90 y/o mother at my house.
Wish I could be on the beach too but we went from record highs this week to frost and snow overnight so no BBQ today for Mothers Day. I will have to plan a different meal to prepare.

I think as mother's we tend to put ourselves on the backburner to meet everyone else's needs. This Mother's Day I challenge you all to pick something of real interest to you and your own creativity and pursue it with passion. Allow yourself the time to grow into your own needs and your own changing body. This has always been a challenge for me. I have 5 grown children and I am just now finding that for 20 years there was a person underneath all that laundry, driving, Dr. appointments, School meetings, homework, lessons, and the list went on and on.
I think that was part of my excuse in regards to my weight. I was too busy to look after myself...and well look where that got me....
Happy Mother's Day Everyone..and remember it is ok to put yourself first!

Thank you. And Happy Mother's Day to all of you too. Normally, my son and I go out to dinner each year. Good thing I remembered and we did that last weekend. It was also his birthday. We used to get to go out two weekends in a row, but today being Day 4 of the 7 day liquid diet........ And besides, he had a chance to work today and pick up some extra hours, so I suggested that he do that.

Happy Mother's Day to all my RR mothers!! You all are great, and I appreciate all the support given me since I started this journey. I wish I was at the beach too, but unfortunately, I have to work today  . Plus, my brother and (4-legged) nephew are home, and I'm missing spending time with them  . I guess I'll stay on RR all day and spend time with my "other" family!!!
