| Have you ever tried their products?
A friend of mine that is 6 years out from her surgery and another that is 3 months out from her Lapband turned me onto this site. BariatricEating.com - BE, Inc. The number one bariatric website for protein, vitamins, and success.
I have been checking them out, they have some great stuff including the sample packs which I love cuz I do not know what I will like after the surgery.
They have vitamins, drinks, protein drinks/bars and other ideas. The one that seems very interesting is the PURE Protein shake says no sugar, no carbs, no fat, no taste, no smell. Can add it to soup, bouillon, iced tea, lemonade, warm or iced coffee drinks, reduced fat sour cream or mayonnaise, yogurt...so on.
So....I was curious has anyone tried them and do you recommend? Thanks!

Search the archives for "vitamins" and/or "bariatric advantage" and it'll blow your mind how many threads there are about this stuff (maybe not from this particular store, but the same products.)

Sample packs are definitely the way to go as taste definitely changes post op! things that tasted fine pre op are nasty post op to your taste buds. Not sweet enough tastes too sweet.
Plus you always want to run ANY protein supplement product past your nutritionist to make sure it is an 'approved' one that has a super high ratio of digestible protein. Otherwise it's just a waste of money and we all hate that don't we!

I've belonged to their forum since before my surgery and ordered off the site a bunch of times, I actually just ordered a box of Kay's protien cereal tonight. I ordered the starter bundle of vitamins before my surgery and still order my vitamins from there. I love that site! Oh and the Believe RTD's are out of this world! My favorite is the Creme Brulee, which I actually need to order more of next week!

Their Believe drinks are pretty good. Especially when you need to grab something & go. Thou they are not always available. They make them in house & post when they are ready for sale.

thanks for info on the site... would like to find some better choices for protein drinks. I use SAS from Sams i like it but need a new change.. | havent found a good legal nutrition bar, most of them are full of carbs. Do you have a favorite bar?
