Hi!

Had my RNY last week and doing ok. My only complaint is the left side pain where they sutured into a muscle. Has anyone else experienced this. The pain is horrible when getting up to stand and walking, so I'm not very active. The doc says this should get better in 4=5 days but Not sure I beleive this. Any suggestions? thanks

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hello and welcome. That is where my pain was when I was early out. It will get better. It just takes a little time for your body to adjust. Hang in there it will get better.

Yes, the pain on my left side was the worst, but I’m 28 days out and it’s completely gone. Hang in there, it will get better for you too!

Left sided pain is completely normal. I was told by my doctor that this is where most of the poking, prodding and cutting was done. I had left sided pain for about 2 weeks, then it went away overnight. Just baby that side for the next few days and continue to rest, sip and walk. You will be just fine!

Default pain gone!

It's crazy but my horrible left-sided pain just disappeared in one afternoon. The pain felt burning and pulling... after it disappeared I got scared and thought something became loose or something.

thanks for all the good thoughts.
