Now this was interesting! Imagine having a blood test to see if you are at risk for obesity before it happens!!!! Of course, the possibility of treating it before a person actually gets obese is an obvious benefit. It also explains why diets fail for so many of us. While diet and exercise are key, it's interesting to note that some individuals seem to be on a never ending cycle where long term weight loss is just a losing/gaining battle! If this research bears out, it's no wonder!
