Okay so I tend to agree with this article to an extent. However, that having been said I know that where I grew up there wasn't a whole lot of obesity compared to the levels I see here in New Jersey. I grew up in a farming community and I think that a lot of us were maybe more active cuz you had to be active in order to stay out of trouble and be entertained. Although I do agree that walking from place to place in NYC is one of my fave things to do. I have a feeling that if I lived in Manhattan I would lose my extra lbs really quickly from all the exploring I would want to do.
