Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I wish Tricare covered everything. I have yet to recieve my bill but I know I have a copay. I feel this article is to put it all in a bad spotlight. If these people had their surgery in a military hospital they only have to pay for their room and food. But just remember these doctors don't get paid the big bucks the outside doctors get so the cost isn't that much. I feel they deserve it afterall their spouses get paid squat and full medical is really the only perk they get. Don't compare it to the outside hospitals cost it isn't the same. I just wish the retirees would get full coverage. Stop looking and complaining about money spent on the military they do a lot with so little.

Regarding cost of WLS to spouses of military. Great article. I remember over ten years ago wishing I had that opportunity, but insurance was not allowing it. Now it's possible and considering the long range lack of expenses for other situations, it's more than worth the cost. PJ
