Trans fats are on their way out in Montgomery County restaurants. Beginning Tuesday, restaurants will have to stop using margarines, frying oils and other food products that contain more than one-half gram of trans fat per serving. Montgomery is the first jurisdiction in the Washington area to place limits on trans fats, which have been linked to health problems.
