Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hmm. I was 315 when I gave birth to my first son in 2002 and 324 when I gave birth to my second son in 2004. First natural, second c-section (he was 10.5 lbs!) I gained 12 with my first son and 15 with my second. My boys were healthy! I was fine! I had great dr's and a great hospital experience. I think it's an outrage! And totally wrong. I understand about being a new hospital, but the staff..... have they all been practicing just since 2005?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Isnt it common practice to go to the medical center where you will get the best care? I was heavy with my 2 kids, no serious issues beyond high blood pressure which did not manifest into anything, but with my 2nd preg I went to a high risk clinic and went to a local hosp that has top of the line neonatal care. Yes, I could have gone elsewhere and used a less experienced hospital but, for pete's sake, I wanted the best care for my DD - I appreciate the perspective that as a public hospital they should be able to handle most any case, and I'm guessing that if she were in an emergency situation, they'd do the best they could to care for her. If she's that likely to have pre-term labor issues, perhaps she should investigate possible living arrangements closer to the appropriate hospital. Also, really good prenatal care should assist in a good outcome. |
