Nope....good guess though! It actually came from a story my husband heard one time about a man who was bargaining for a wife. In their village, 1 cow was considered the standard cost for a bride. This man found a woman so beautiful that he brought 10 cows to trade for her...an unheard of fortune. He said she was his "10 cow bride". Since my dh heard that story, I've been his 10cow girl. If you don't know the story behind it, I guess it sounds like an insult
