I am doing well thank you for asking. I am a bit frustrated with the time frame in which weight is now coming off, but what can I do? Nothing more than what I am doing. Oh well. I just have to be patient!! How are you doing?

Okay--this stricture stuff sounds absolutely dreadful!! Do you feel like you are choking or your air is restricted? I emensely dislike feeling ill and the thought of these complications are unpleasant to say the least. But like all of you not enough to deter me! Anyway thanks for all your posts and responses. I did not want to post this public--how do you deal with the "down side" of this surgery?

Thank you so much! My husband was ok with the surgery and has been great since. I am so glad I have his support in this. She is now weighing 230 and is 5'4 so she s not huge but heavy enough. She startedd asking all kinds of questions and was thinking about it also but now has shied away.

Hey Amy I just wanted to say it can get lonely on the top. Its true when I told my best friend about my surgery she acted happy 4 me, but she shyed away. I offered to help her get her paperwork and appts made she said okay than backed away more she doesn't answer my calls or call me she hasn't seen me since surgery but people has told her I just don't try anymore she has went from a 22 to 52 I don't want to hurt her so I just no longer have a bf this journey is hard my spouse was against it but once I had it we r closer and he pays more attention and can't keep his hands off me my marriage is great 12 yrs so good luck and remember we have to think of our happiness too we neglected ourselves long enough
