The best gifts are those made from the heart and with love. I have another 13 hour day tomorrow. It is because I am a VP in Business Development and I have early morning and evening functions to go to ontop of my regular 9 hour work day.
Tomorrow is a dinner/networking event from 6-10pm.
I am not paid by the hour, but on commission so it is important that I attend these types of events because they eventually translate into business and income.
My special weekend was my daughter returning Monday from South Korea where she was visiting her b/f for the last 3 weeks.

holy crow man..take it easy!!! I havent had a tweleve hour day in forever...mainly cuz i have learned how to say "im sorry im already booked that day". Gallbladder comes out on the 1st of June... HAZZAH!!! BTW for mothers day... i got to SLEEP IN!!! A wonderful hand made pop-up card w/ flowers inside that popped up. A key chain she beaded..and a cement stepping stone she also made...LOVED my mothers day!!

You must think I am awful taking a week to respond. I was in Toronto this week at a large event at the Toronto Metro Convention Center from Sunday until Wednesday. I was stuck Sunday night on the Gardner due to the Tamils shutting it down. I have had almost 2 weeks of over 12 hour days (only 11 on Friday) and am crashing right now.
My daughter gets back tomorrow from South Korea where she spent the last 2 1/2 weeks visiting her b/f who is teaching English there. Must be nice, she was in Cuba in January for a week and the closest thing I have had to a vacation was the weekend with my mother when I had my 3 month post op follow up and the 1 1/2 weeks of end of January for this operation.
My poetry pen ran out of ink this week, but I will work on it once my own mental batteries have re-charged.

wow, thats an AWSOME mothers day gift!!! I am hoping for perfume, make up, clothes, a lounge chair for the backyard and a gift certificate for the landscaping joint...lol...kidding, im looking forward to a lovely peice of art work from my daughter.Feel like writting an essay for me? Sorry I dint respond sooner. I went back to see my dr for my 3 month post op last weekend until Monday (3 day trip I made out of it). I took my mother for the weekend as a Mother's Day treat. She enjoyed it with all the shopping we did and then stayed at Emassy Suites with 2 hour open bar and then a casino resort the next night.

Its Saturday night... im bored.. i wanna put on my new clothes and go out for a martini. BF is working till 2am... so id be flying solo. Im tired of watching the history channel and doing homework.. i had a hard time walking myself home at 265... wonder what would follow me home now?... i may just see...lol.. dammit im bad.

Sorry it took a while to try and figure out how to accept your invitation. By the time I get home from work in the evening, the brain is not working a fast as it started out in the morning and it took until this morning (Saturday) to work it out.
