I'm sorry u r going through this. U have done good with your wl u should be proud u r staring a new chapter in your life. You deserve to be happy. If he don't get help u need to go on u can't change him or help him if he doesn't want it. God bless u my hubby has post traumatic stress disorder from being in the army we have been together for 12 yrs it has been tough with prayer n medical help we have a good relationship. If u guys decide ya want to be together make him marry u before ya live together again it is a step toward a relationship including christ its still a struggle but god can help we live together for 2 yrs before we were married it was awful I told him I was leaving if we didn't get married I refused to be a live in girlfriend god bless u be strong and get on your feet I'm a full time

Oh I am still puree'g myself. Actually I am on a liquid diet for 3 days. Today I had to have a endoscopy with dilation as I had strictures. Solids were getting "stuck" and had such pain and heartburn. It thought I must be eating too fast,or not chewing enough. But it got worse and really hurt. Finally called the doctor yesterday and they set me up for the procedure early this morning. All went well, sore throat but other than that I am feeling okay. May have to have a repeat but am confident they will get it fixed. So until then I will puree my life away!

How are things with you? I am good, only one bad day so far. Been out and about twice, Tuesday is another day out. Working my way back to normal life!

I'M home and feeling ok, EVEN with my husband eating in front of me!
so what is up with you? is everything good? Soft food?! I am soooo envious.I am so sick of jello, broth and popsicles. Yesterday I had the broth I had before suegery and it was good...then realized it wasn't low sodium .Had the low sod for lunch- yuk! Smelled like it would be good but tasted bland and more like celery than chicken. And that light soymilk is gross! Cant wait until I can have some soft foods!

Thanks for checking in I'm ok. I had my 2 week follow-up & am doing very well. I was glad I was cleared for exercise other than walking, it's good to do other things. I've been ok'd to have soft foods. Most things are ok but I've had some icky dumping. I'm quickly learning that just because something is ok one day doesn't mean it's ok another day, I'm not eating bad things- my pouch is a little finicky at times.

I've had some depression that some others have felt post-op. I've been reading older posts & it appears it is common, it's not buyer's remorse because I would have surgery again in a second, but as others surmised it could be change in hormones or the body adjusting to what just happened to it. I do feel better after I read other's posts because it seems as though it is a temporary thing. I feel slightly better after I exercise. It helps to remember how much has changed since surgery, being off 1/2 of my meds, and I can't remember ever loosing 21 lbs in 2 weeks before!
