I know how the not sleeping goes!!! I could not get comfortable there, slept in the chair the entire time!!! After the first few hours there in the room I never got back into the bed the entire time I was there!! Too hot, uncomfortable, etc..... Glad to here things are getting better for you. The constipation thing is awful!! I was taking stool softners the first few months after the surgery and they sure helped. Good luck, make sure to eat and drink, and keep me updated as to how you are.

I got home Wed. but I was still in a lot of pain, I could have stayed in hospital another day or 2 but asked my surgeon if it was ok for me to go home Wed. as I could not sleep, the room was extremely HOT and the hellicoptor landing was very near by (NOISY). I could not write sooner as I was unable to go downstairs to the computer. I found out the pain was not from surgery (gramps) it was do to the fact I did not have a bowl movement until yesterday (first in 11 days).
I feel good now just some pain by stetches, I hope you are feeling good.

Just wanted to wish you good luck on Monday!!! I am sure all will go well!!! Let me know how you are feeling when you are up to it.

Will do whatever I can to help you along the way. It has definately been a long, hard journey----but so well worth it!!! I have only 35 lbs to go to get where I want to be. Doctor says I only have 20 to go, but I figured if I have come this far, I wanna be where I will be happy. If you have any questions, concerns, etc feel free to ask. Will help you out as much as I can. And feel free to ask any questions--if I am able to answer, I will.
