Hey Deb, I had my surgery on 11/14/09. I DIDN'T want anybody there. I wanted to sleep. My husband respected my wishes but felt like he abandoned me. He got over it. What hospital are you going to? I see you are in upstate NY. I'm at Fort Drum.
