Hello everyone well i finally had my surgery in Dec and I had quite a bit of complications for 4 months. The surgery went well but two weeks afterward all ---- broke loose. I started experiencing severe dry heves and nausea which landed me in the hospitol back and forth for four months and a total of 46 days and a second surgery which was due to scar tissue and colitis. Iam much better now finally and through all that i have went thru i would not hesitate to do it all over again if asked. The benefits that i have had since loosing weight which currently i have lost 84 lbs., is well worth it. I no longer suffer from irritable bowel, gerd, sleep apnea, edema, high blood pressure or heart palpitations and i feel great!!!!! I am glad that I finally did it but goodness I only wish I would have done this ten years ago. I really feel great and i look great and it is just amazing I hope everyone feels as good as I do.

Hello everyone iam scheduled for the lap gatris bypass on Dec 29 and I can't wait. I know that it is going to be a long process and i know it's going to take a lot of hard work. I hope that some of you out there can give me me some advice on the first few weeks post op. I know this seems to be the most difficult time. So please if there is any heads ups that would help me , please let me know what to expect. I look forward to hearing from you guys and all of you have done wonderful.
