So sorry to hear about your brother. My prayers are with you. Remember all the good times you had with him. He will live in your heart. I lost an Aunt a few days ago. She was 92 and was ready to go. It is so much worse when it is unexpected. God Bless and keep you my friend. luv ya, Dixie

Hi Barbara. I only had to do 10 days of the diet because they had a cancellation and could get me in sooner. It took me a long time because I had to do the 6 month supervised diet with my dr. It took about 8 mts all together. I would do it all again in a heart beat. It has changed my life. I had many appt. before all the normal stuff with all the test. Do you have any idea when your surgery will be? Have you seen the nutritionist yet and the surgeon? I know it is a lot of hoops to jump through but it is so worth it. If you need to know anything just ask I will be glad to help you any way I can.

Hi dixieladybug, you said you got your surgery at CMMC, how long was your process, di you have t do the two week liquid diet? Tell me everything you went through.I am in phase two last thing just saw lung doctor scheduled to see her again in feb.

Hello.. I had RNY and I think know it was the best for me. I am over two out and I still try to get at least 60g of protein and at least 64ozof water. I though at first I would never be able to get all of it in but in time it becomes a second way of life. Where are you having your surgery? Where are you from? Ask anything and I will try my best to help you anyway that I can. lol
