You know, it is so wonderfully amazing to see you characterize your early post-op period as "a few bumps in the road"!! For such a long time I felt guilty that I had recommended that you go forward with WLS and then you had that experience. We're gonna hafta start calling you "Job". After his trials, the Lord blessed him greatly and he ended up enjoying a wonderful life despite all he had been through.

Yes honey it can do that cause that much pain. I have to ask this do you still your gall bladder? That also can cause pain but it shouldnt cause it all the time like a constant pain. Gas pain can be severe. Unlike the regular you felt before surgery for sure. Mine hurt me so bad I begged my husband to hold me and I never ever asked him to hold me before LOL im a tough lady and it hurt me so bad up into my shoulder and I would have never thought it was gas pain. You saying its your right side brings up the idea it might be a gallbladder problem also. If its under your rib then radiates up your back and if you still have one then yes. I do hope you can get public assistance honey there is no shame in that. You certinaly have had enough medical issues to warrant it and need help. I dont blame you for returning to the same surgeon for that reason and losing weight will make your gallbladder flare up and warrant removal if that is the problem.

I was so wanting to go to Galveston this summer but my incision is not closed up yet so it maybe next summer for me

what a coincidence for such a large state. I really like Houston ( but I could spend days on end at the space center too) but Hubby doesn't. Normally we stay in Galveston so we are close to the beach.

We will have to see what summer brings. His job is greatly in jeopardy and I can't stand mine and am actually looking back into consulting while off work. Would be great to go back and give notice that first week or two.

I know it's a struggle right now, and I have faith that everything will be ok.
