My first stall started 11 days ago. I also experienced my 1st round of PMS and menses since surgery. I'm curious if this will be a consistent pattern. I am still dropping sizes with no weight loss, YEAH!!
Occassionally, I have felt bored and thought about comfort food. Nothing too overwhelming, however, I have used food to comfort within the boundaries of what does not make me ill. Obviously, this is a life battle. Sometimes I laugh at my ingenuity to get my "fix"....

I do not have a "party body"!! I can not eat for entertainment or drink. My body demands top notch fuel and that is it! I must come to terms with this daily if I am to succeed with surgery. I have tried every possible avenue to bypass this reality of my body and it always ends up in the same place 100-150lbs overweight.
I cannot exercise away excess calories, or adjust the next day --eventually addicitive behaviors take over and one day of excess leads to another and...

81 days--some adjustments needed:
I need to eat at regular scheduled times otherwise I am struggling to decide what to eat and I am often feel bored with food--however, if I force myself to consume protein at regular scheduled times it will reduce compulsive eating --also decreases the liklihood that I will eat something not needed.
These seem best for my schedule;
Eat at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 5:00; one more snack before 9:00

71 days --What have I accomplished?
*nearly 30lbs lighter
*blood sugars under control
*removed all jeans sizes 18-22
*exercise 3x weekly
*faithfully log all food intake
*I have approval for surgery, probably February 2011

The mystery of answered prayer--is it really that God only answers some prayers or is it He answers all prayers and we fail to recognize this because we reject parts of the process to this answered prayer?
