Here are a couple of recipes that deal with making meat tender (and delicious, if I do say so myself!) They aren't beef or chicken, but a brined & braised pork roast and a roasted turkey illustrate the same general principles. Here's one that uses corned beef. You won't need a knife!!

I haven't tried the Wendy's chili recipe myself, but I know that several have and liked it. I posted it for someone who missed that specific taste. My regular chili is a little more creative and complex than that. I think I posted some recipes for different versions of it sometime ago.

Don't be afraid to experiment!! Take my recipes (or anyone else's) and make it your own!
