Hi there, just stopping in to say Hi. Have you been able to get your food intake up to thousand calories? I sure noticed I lost a lot faster when i can keep mine up there. Hang in there, everyone is right it does get easier to do n cope the farther you get away from surgery. Take care.
That's no good, you need to get your protein! I can only do 2 of the 2-3oz "meals" and 2 shakes a day, but I make sure to get the protein in. If you did this procedure for your health and quality of life, don't waste all you've went through by ruining it from not getting your vital needs met. I hope they told you the same thing they told me, this surgery will result in a life long battle with malnutrition, and malnutrition is where you're headed without your vitamins....
I had my surgery in September at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital in Portland. As of today I have lost 58 pounds altogether. I have tons more energy and things are going very well. I am very lucky. How are you doing and where did you have your surgery?
