    Linda, hello! I live in Frankfort, KY and I was deciding between Dr. Husted or Dr. Houston in Nashville for my surgery. You said your insurance would not let you go to Dr. Houston's cleveland clinic and I was wondering why. I have Medicare and my husband has humana PPO. Before I drive all the way down there I thought I'd ask you if you knew anything about Dr. Houston or that Cleveland Clinic. Everybody says Dr. Husted in Somerset is amazing, etc. etc. but then somebody secretly emailed me and told me to stay away from him because she was a lawyer and wouldn't tell me why. So I am so confused. Just wondered why you didn't go to Cleveland Clinic in Nashville. Thanks, PAt and Kenny, Frankfort. My husband is having DS and I am converting from RNY to DS. I weigh 280...boo hoo.... I appreciate you telling me anything you know about Cleveland Clinic.

I heard from Vanderbilt Friday. My surgery is October 8th. I am very disappointed that I have to wait 3 more months. Has anyone else had to wait that long after everything has been approved? The people I know personally told me once you get apporved your surgery is scheduled quickly. So that is what I was expecting. Anyway, I am one that believes everything happens for a reason, but still doesn't make me happy. There is nothing I can do about it so I will just have to make the...

Well, I went to my Nutritionist today for the last time before surgery. All my information is in the Dr.'s hands now. My surgery should be scheduled soon. I am nervous, but I am ready.
