Hi, I'm short, too! You are the first person I've come across. I am just starting the process. Still trying to decide between the RNY or SLeeve (VGS). Leaning more to the sleeve.

Hi Lisa! I was checking out the forum tonight and came across yours with the X-Mas pics. Very nice looking family by the way. I read your profile and seen you are only an 1/2 inch shorter than me and before your WLS about the same weight. I've been trying to find people close to my height and weight to get advise from. I've been working on getting the same WLS as you now since Aug. and my question is would you mind telling me why you had it- like for medical reasons and how you did with it afterwards and why you chose the type you did? I talked to the WLS doctor about the lap-band but he suggest I have the one like you had. As I said I've been working on getting my ducks in a roll so to speak since Aug. With the use of diet pills from the doctor I've manged to lose15 lbs since then. Thank you for anything you don't mind to share with me.
