I know what you mean about everyone telling you all your life your fat . I remember my mom telling me I was getting fat . For crying out loud I was only 135 and in High School . I look at photos of me as a kid and I just don't see a fat kid .
Oh well like you said its Me time !My husband and kids had a hard time accepting that but thats ok ,for once in my life ( and maybe more and more now LOL ) I'm going to be selfish . My husband said that to me one day on one of my many trips to the doctor and I just kind of sat there and thought "yup I am ,and I'm ok with that " . After that he kind of got the hint I'm doing this for me .

Just wanted to say hi to someone near my age ,Only off by five years LOL . I hope you get a surgery date soon . I had to wait almost a year to get mine . I think it took that long to get my family to accept the fact that i am overweight . They love me and have never thought of me as being any thing other than mom . This includes my brothers and other relitives . And for once in my life i'm doing somedthing for me and no one else . hope you are doing the same .
