I would enjoy sharing our faith on this WL journey. Have you posted in the social group "faith"? I have spent my life thinking and studying on spiritual issues. I have attemtped to exercise faith with weight control but have not been able to maintain long term success. I guess I always wonder--why? Why is God not enough, why do I return to old coping patterns? I do not feel condemned by God I feel his grace however, I believe He is all powerful and somehow if I could consistently tap into his power I could gain permanent victory in this area.
