omg..your doc tor told you there would be no pain... he lies like a rug. Maybe hes just saying that so you dont look forward to the pain meds? Yes there is pain afterwards...mind you, its not all that bad. I did laundry and catch up stuff the day i got home ..had surgery friday and laundry by sunday afternoon...There is a "discomfort" when you swallow anything and hits the "bottom"... i appreciated my pain meds then. I only used 5 of the 30 i was given.
