Hi I read a response from you to poppiestootsie today and was wondering if I could ask you some questions?
I am currently deciding if WLS is the next step for me. My biggest fear is that it would not help me from gourging like I do now. Similar to your post I do have issues with knowing when to stop especially with sweets. I really would not want to fail after going through the last resort? How has WLS helped you keep the weight off while other diets have failed for you?
Thanks
Crystal
Thanks Barb,
I know the end result will be great, but it is frustrating, I haven't been able to go back to work as I have been so sick, and the dilema now is do I go back soon, to have to be off again if I need more treatment?? I have a dietician appt on monday so I suppose I will ask their veiws then, the good thing I suppose is that I get paid even though I'm not at work... Thanks for listening, and thanks for all your great advice o here, you are an inspiration..
I was just talking on the phone to my son about it. He lives in Manhatten and I told him I wanted to go for a consult. He told me to wait till he talks to his friend who is a Plastic Surgeon and see what he says about it. I told him of course he won't want me to use this company, I'm glad I saw your e-mail. Anything else I should know? Thanks for your input.
I happened to notice that your height and pre surgery weight are almost exactley the sae as what I am now. I was wondering about the extra skin after surgery is it real bad? I am hoping that because I don't have a huge amount of weight to lose that it won't be as bad as some others that have more than 100 lbs to lose. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
