HEY! How have you been? I hope all is well. How is the weight loss and your new you doing?

- Hey! How are you doing? Have you gotten on the soft solid foods yet? How much weight are you down now? I lost 3 more lbs. I am down a total of 26 lbs so far. I only have 118 lbs to go. For some reason when I saw that on my ticker I got excited...118 lbs to go. I know I will do it! It is an exciting experience. I can't wait to have my before and after pics up on this web site

I am over it. I have this thing kicked in the butt!!!! Liquid shmickquid!!! 
After going through this, I know I can do anything if I set my mind to it!! I am soooooo looking foward to surgery day. I am not scared now, but I might be a little worried on the big day. I think the bye-bye to my 22 month old will be hard 
but, it is only a couple of days. I think my husband will be glad I am home more than she will be!!! ANyway, I just wanted to post my success of beating the LIQUIDS...only...

Well, day 3 and I "think" I am over the shock. It is going a little better, except my dang coworkers had MEXICAN FOOD CATERED!!!!!!
My all time fav!!! Oh well, maybe I can have a bite or two of that favorite later in my journey. The problem I am having with the liquid diet is that there is no variety. My surgeon wants a 14 day pre-op diet of 4-5 meal replacement drinks and water, with SF jello and popsicles. If I had more variety it would be easier, like broth. OMG!!!

Well, the first day was okay. I did end up with a headache but I survived it! I noticed last night while watching the tv that those darn food commercials sure do look good!!
I use to , or at least I thought I did, ignore them, didn't think twice about them. Now, I wonder how much those commercials influenced me to eat when I wasn't hungry.
I am thinking that once I get to day 4 I should be okay. It is just so limited, but I will SURVIVE!!
