We meal plan, too, based on circulars. I know we'll make it work - my work offers a flex schedule (four 10-hr days) so I'm going to propose a few things to my boss so that we only need childcare 3 days a week, which will help tremendously!
Once you get the fitbit set up, all of your activity it records, like a spin on the treadmill will show up on your myfitnesspal under excercise. Likewise, if you swim laps (obviously without the fitbit on) and log it into myfitnesspal, it will go over to your tracking page for fitbit. I love myfitnesspal in terms of the food tracker, so I track everything I eat there......and it then shows up on my fitbit tracker. It takes some getting used to because I do a lot of stair at work- fitbit counts this as excercise (I wouldn't) and gives me credit as excercise on myfitnesspal. Sometimes I just remove it if I feel they give me too many calories off for that sort of stuff. I like them both!!
