Tomorrow is the big day ... the date of my WLS.
I have already lost 140 pounds because of a disease called Achalasia, so for me the surgery will only help me lose about 70 more pounds or so.
I am still nervous though. My Aunt had WLS about 25 years ago and it was disatrous. She nearly died because of surgeon errors, however I know that this was before many of the current practices were in put in place.
By the time I post to this blog again I will be post-op...
