Yeah, some folks just aren't happy unless they're elevating themselves at another person's expense. Such are vexations to the spirit. According to them, you're damned - whether you do or don't, it doesn't matter. In such cases, do what works for you to help achieve your own goals. They only want to drag you down to their own hell. Heaven is a much better goal!
Glad to hear you're realizing these tremendous health benefits! Getting rid of my CPAP was a huge step for me - one I hadn't even considered until my wife told me I didn't need it. All health indicators have moved in the right directions, and I am enjoying life in ways I haven't in many years. God is indeed good! He has richly blessed me through the means of this surgery, and I thank Him on a regular basis.
Keep those lines of communication open with your wife! She (with the Lord) is the center of your life. You have made a huge investment in your relationship with her, but as you well know, it takes constant tending and nourishment to keep the flower of love blooming. So many forget that, with tragic consequences. My folks divorced when I was twelve. I decided then that I would never let that happen to me. It hasn't always been easy or "happy ever after", but this weekend is our 34th wedding anniversary. Seems that is getting rarer and rarer these days!
Take care, brother! Keep on with the WLS rules, and it'll keep working for you. How are you doing regarding your goal? I haven't noticed your stats in awhile.
