Diabeties and Pain Help! Help! I am now three months post op and taking 15 units of Lantis Insulin and 1000 mg of metformin daily. Since surgery, I have lost a total of 34 lbs. I feel the weight is coming off very slow. I am currently on 800 calories a day. 50 Carbs, 30 fats and between 70 and 80 in protein. Do you think 50 carbs is to high? What about the fat and calories are they to high?

About once a week I feel a terrible pain under my left upper rib. It feels like gas stuck in my body cavity and not in my intestines. Someties it hurts so bad I have to stop what ever I'm doing and lay down while the "buubbel shifts. I feel the preasure all the way in my neck. Is it still possible to have air stuck in me from when they filled me up with gas? How can I get rid of it? Thanks.
