    Hey y'all,
It's really been almost a year since I've posted a message, but everything is fine with me.
What I know for certain is now that it's been almost 3yes post opp things are almost back to normal and it can be scary.
I can almost eat anything I want and I can also consume more than before. A scary combination.
I was once at my lowest weight list 183lbs and now I am 202, so I've gained about 20 lbs. Although I like my curves I have to watch my weight because I don't want it to sneak back up on me.
I do exercise 3-4 days a week and I've just joined an Aerobics class last week. The class has taken my workout routine to the next level and I think that's what my body needed.
I know realize that I must do some form of exercise for the rest of my life in order to maintain my weight list.
The Struggle is worth the fight.

WOW, its been a while since I've posted any messages but I've been enjoying my new life everyday ever since my WL surgery. I think I have plateaued at 184.1 lbs from being 296lbs. Its been about 19 months post surgery and about 112-117lbs weight lost. I recently had tummy surgery that was a little trying during recovery but I'm glad that's behind me now. My clothes fine much better now and I love the way I look. Since my journey, I've lost and gained some friends and my weight loss attitude and appearance had taken a toil on my husband & daughter. We are currently working through these matters. My hubby and I are spending more time together and things are slowly working out for our good. Change comes at a cost.

It will be a year post op for me coming Jan 25th, boy time waits for no one. I'm excitted about joining this group because I do have experience to contribute. Well I can relate to not losing many pounds in the past 3 months but all together I have lost 110lbs and I look and feel FABULOUS. I'm not that worried about the last 15 more lbs I need to loose to meet my goal but it is a goal I will work at. Increase exercise and less food intake will do it.

It's been almost 3 months since I've updated this sight but its good to be back. A lot have taken place. My currant weight lost has slowed down a lot and I'm now 187lbs and it look good and feels great. But my children and hubby seems to think its enough weight loss. I'm ok with the loss but the dr says I can expect 6 more months of loss. What is my family going to think of me then?
They are already having trouble accepting my "New Me". They say I've changed. I guess I have changed but some folks have a problem with the change.
We have since then seen a therapist and I thinks it's helped me embraced my new me and learn how to cope which those who have a problem with my change. Family should of had to attend some Bariatric classes too😉

Currently 6 mths post op and 100 lbs lighter. I feel great and look greater. But, my hubby who has been very supportive is starting to experience some conflicting feelings. After being somewhat reluctant to talk about my New Me, he finally told me that he feels "You are consummed" with your WL experience and I agreed. I think he's feeling a little "Insercure". I expected it to happen and I know we'll get past this. We do have a good marriage.

At almost 6 mths post op milestone. Today I went to a well known young folks clothing store and I brought a new pair of jeans in a size 14. I'm ecstatic. A year ago I was wearing a size 28-30. It's been an awesome journey and it's not over yet. You go girl!

Hey yall, it's been a while since my last entry but I'm happy to say I am 4 months post op, my RNY surgery date was 01/25/12, weight in 253 after losing 40lbs previously before surgery. My currant weight is now 208 a total of 88lbs down after starting out in April 2011 at 296. I've performed a clothing, makeup & hair make over and people are astounded by my new look. And guess what, so am I. Even though my weight loss has slowed down I love my New Me.

I'm now a little more than three months post op and about 10 more pounds down. I'm 211lbs and I feel great. My weight lost is about 10lbs a month and I'm pleased with that, especially since I can get into a size 16 from a sz 28 about a yr ago. I even got hit on by a young man a few weeks ago and all I could do was laugh. It tickled me to laughter. My beloved husband didn't find it too amusing:-()
