HI Missy (that is your name right?)

I know where Cheektowagga is!

I've been there a few times.
Though the surgery may seem like a drastic measure...when you consider that you could die if you keep on being heavy...it isn't that drastic at all.
I had NO problems whatsoever! I recovered in double quick time (at least compared to any of my other operations!). I pretty much eat what I want ...though I cannot take a lot of grease and sugar is a big no no. The pouch does not like sugar and it rejects creamed spinach though I can eat creamed chip beef and eat regular spinach.

I don't eat anywhere near what I used to eat.
And my legs (of all things) are like toothpicks. I had dispaired of ever losing weight in my legs but that seems to be the first thing people comment on...my chicken legs or toothpick legs!
I have lost a total of 99 pounds and still have one more pound to go...and it's a stubborn pound I can tell you that...before I hit the century mark! I went from a size 22 clothing down to a size 10 jeans and a small top and dress!

Now if I could only grow some hair!!!!! But I've been bald since I was 28 years old so I don't think that's going to happen any time soon!
Just remember that even if you have some problems (and you may not have any at all) that you are doing this to get healthy (and to look good!). Find something in your life to look forward to and keep that as a goal for when things get rough...if they do. For me it was two little grandsons. Maddox age 5 and Marjoe age 3...the lights of my lives. I want to be there to see them grow up...get married and put a great grandchild in my arms!
And now I believe I will be able to do that!
