It’s contest time again, kids!! This month, I’ll be giving away a total of $100 in prizes for your efforts in building our community on the RenewedReflections.com message boards. The contest runs from noon Central Time on Friday, March 3rd, until midnight Central Time on Friday, March 31st (2006, of course).

Here’s the prize breakdown:

A $50 Amazon gift certificate will be awarded to the person who invites the most new members to the Forums. (Newbies must introduce themselves in the “Newbie Challenge” thread and say who invited them!)
A $25 Amazon gift certificate will be awarded to a random member of our Forums who brings at least five new people to the message boards. (Again, make sure your friends give you credit when they post in “Newbie Challenge”.)
A $25 Amazon gift certificate will be awarded to the newbie who joins and posts the most in the Forums.
Each winner will also receive a copy of the critically acclaimed CD, Born to be Wild, by Big T & The Bada-Bings. (Curious what you’re in for? You can hear samples of all the tracks at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bigt.)

We currently have close to 100 members on the boards, and more than 900 posts. Odds are, each of you knows several other people who are considering weight loss surgery or have had WLS and could benefit from the insights and encouragement of our other Forum members. My goal is for the RenewedReflections message boards to become a dynamic and active community where WLS pre- and post-ops can share their experience, strength and hope for the benefit of us all. Help me make this a reality—and maybe win some cyber cash, too!

Lastly... (in my serious voice

) For this contest, it is the sole responsibility of the inviting member to make sure their newbies register on the boards and post who invited them in the “Newbie Challenge”. We want them to become active participants in the site, but if they don’t give you credit in the special contest area first, they won’t be counted as your newbie!

I think that everyone just wants me to have the money Craig. hehehe...:P I accept. I am trying to get more on, but is it just me, or have things seemed to have slowed down this past few days? Hopefully some smack talk will help spark things for ya Craig.
