Hi all

I have just added another plugin into the forum.

• You are not able to post links until you have made at least one post - I have set it really low, but we may increase it. This stops spam posts getting links from RenewedReflections - they often just make one spam post.
• You can't send emails to another person via the forum until you have one or more posts
• You can't send PM's until you have one or more posts

Please let me know if you would like these limits changed.

great idea!we may find later they need to be a little higher but it's a good starting point.

Sounds fine to me, too.
I know a forum where the line is set at 15, so one is quite reasonable.
Besides, onederland is where everyone wants to come to.

Yes Pillows, we should definately be handing out some infractions to you, and with your one post on the forum, that means that you are not able to post links until you have another post.

I have set the limit rather low so as to not cause any negative vibes. Easier to tune it up than have eternal flack for setting too high a boundary.

Just send me a PM if you consider that the level needs to be increased.

Just received a PM fron Doc. I have just upgraded to the latest vBulletin version, and it has an infraction system. Click on one and see the options. Its a two click process, so you are not going to do any damage to anyones reputation by clicking once to see about it. Click on Pillows if you like, and give her one (no don't do that, she is too nice ) he he.

Got a lovely fog here. Looking down a valley of houses all covered in whispy white. Blue sky above and smiles all around.

The user infractions system is currently set as the default. I need to learn more about it - details on the vBulletin infraction help system.

Yup, I've noticed it. Thanks, now I won't have to copy in the second and third quotes then surrounding them with the quote[]s.

I have added a new infraction group - 10 points for spam advertisements that immediately bans the person - puts them into the user group banned users, and gives a permanent ban.

So as a moderator first add that infraction notice, then delete the post/thread.

Yes, I am posting this information in a public thread rather than in the moderators forum. I want people to be aware of what we are doing.
