Hi member
Its DocSanae's turn to have a chat this week.
September is here and it is Autumn/Spring by the calendar. The hottest/coldest time of the year and we can look forward to milder weather.
Here in Japan, September 1st is Disaster Prevention Day. On September 1, 1923, a very severe earthquake destroyed a large area that included Tokyo. Since the quake hit at noon, what the tremblors didn't destroy, the fires burned down to the ground. So, every year on this day, large scale public disaster evacation, prevention, and awarenss events are held throughout the country.
Being prepared for disasters make a big difference in our safety.
So, how is disaster prevention in your own weight loss programs? You know post op life brings a lot of changes in your personal life, some good, others not so good. Do you have a safety net, a program to help you through tough times?
We hope the support on this board is one of them.
Also, have you taken a read of Craig's article, "
Preparing Your Life Emergency Kit"? Have you read any of the other articles by Craig in
Reflections?
Whenever you hit a snag, whenever you feel discouraged, or are looking for an answer what to do, check in there to see if there is anything that hits home to you.
Remember, Craig has over 10 years of leading this life under his belt. He's been there, done that, then some more. There's sure to be something in his articles that you can relate to.
Good luck on your journey. Happy readings! Bless ya
