It's best to cut out the foods you crave and start eating healthy foods. You will suffer from cravings for a while, but after a week or so, you'll start feeling better and the cravings will start going away.
Check out Botzz's blogs--the link is in his siggy--he has lists of what he eats in the blog and keeps his cals aroung 1500 or so. If you are going non-op, his pattern is best.

Hi Sky, indeed take a look at my blog, I eat 1700 calories per day (a lot of times it is closer to 1500-1600) and I get in 20-30 minutes of cardio per day and have been at that for just over a year, 178 pounds later here I am lol. I do lots of calisthenics and try to space out my meals so that I don't go more than 3-4 hours without eating something, and Thanks for the mention again Doc

Alternately Richard Simmons has an on line "foodmover" where you don't have to count calories - and it's very inexpensive and you get an email from Richard almost daily. (And I love his videos!)
I'm eating about 1500 calories a day but counting points. Your workout program sounds GREAT! What type of cardio do you do? I work out 6 days a week and do weights 3 times a week - have done this since 1994.
If you can cut out junk food, that's the best thing for your health. It's just a lot of empty (and sometimes worse) calories. Weight Watchers teaches you to eat foods that will leave you satisfied after a meal... they call them "filling foods". I have not had fast food since 1995 and don't miss it at all... you can do it!!!!

Okay so you started working out...that is a HUGE positive now foucs on your eating habits. I know a lot of people do not like Biggest Losers because of the hipe and all but you do learn a lot from that show.
Good luck to you.

One thing I heard is the rule with Weight Watchers is less points when you change the first two numbers. Like I'm 2 lbs away from "one-der-land" and when that 199 happens, I get less points... Hopefully not many less points.
I'm reading the "Biggest Loser" weight loss program book and it's pretty good and nice to read - has photos etc of the participants of the first couple of shows... they have a chart there of how many calories to eat by weight...
