Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Why do they think you need to eat? I seen where you didnt have surgery. They might just be nice people so give us somthing to work with here on why they do this? I know where I live people bring food to us when somone is ill or had surgery or what ever and it goes on a while. Of course I live in the country and things are different. Mabye we can guide you better if we knew why mabye they are doing it. Do you live alone? Just move In? Etc?

they are jus super nice! when i try to explain it doesnt fit in with my diet she will argue that it is diet food then im like im on a crash diet im trying to lose faster , its diet food, rice and chicken samiches on seseame bun isnt diet to me. i guess im going to start throwing it out but if i even take it to beginn with i might fall cause she is such a good cook. like yesterday she brought me a huge plate and cooked me a bag of meatballs precooked to make speggetti with cause shes like were going to disney world for 10 days so we wont be around . maybe since i live alone single she thinks i dont eat ok? also it has been so hot here we havent had rain in over 30 days and weve been under heat advisories so i reall didnt walk half as much this week as before because of the heat. i do kinda put the blame on them a little because they know how hard im working at and losing weight and they are enabling me by doing this, pushing the food in my face, its diet, you need to eat, its good, i know , thats the problem i say,, IT'S TOO GOOD! hehe

I see. I had to look at your profile to know you where LOL!. Sorry about that honey. She sees your losing weight and think she needs to feed ya. You know what... Go get you some freezer bags or containers to freeze stuff in. And then split them down as you feel what would be an appropiate meal for yourself. You know even us that did the surgery have bad weeks to so dont beat yourself up. Mabye she will stop after she comes back from disney or slow down about it. Share with friends when they come over and give them a goodie bag to take home. LOL I dont know what else to tell ya. You told her already it dont fit into your diet. I know im guilty myself when my little brother who is 6'6 went on a diet and when he got to a certian point I told him to stop because he looked bad. He didnt I dont think in reality but he didnt look like my little brother. Mabye she thinks you have went to far or mabye your sick. I dunno honey. Other than the advice I have just given you I have no more than that. Im one that dont wanna hurt peoples feelings myself. Good luck with this. And keep that chin up! ANd yes I have noticed that TX has had a heat wave for sure. My hubby used to live in Plano and told me yesterday he was glad he wasnt there it was supposed to be 110! Cant walk in heat like that for sure.Tomorrow is a another day honey..... go for it.

Bless their kind hearts but ouch for you, what a dilemma.
Isn't there a place you can take all those frozen goodies to? Like a food drive?

That is very kind. You can share your extra food with friends and family. In some cultures, feeding others is a big deal. Believe me I know cause I have an Arab family and friends who are from other countries and that is tradition. I didn't get this big all on my own LOL. Are they from a foreign country? I see that you have done AWESOME without surgery so far so keep up the good work!

I have relatives like that - want to force me to eat and when I say "no" get snotty. The one I am thinking of is now more overweight than I am and I wonder how much of that is "kindness" and how much is she'd love to see me crash and burn like I have so often before. I hate to be the unpopularity queen but this time I've decided that I have to "right to choose" (whether to eat or not) and if people do not understand that and family members sometimes are the worst - then, so be it. This time I am NOT crashing and burning by my own hand, at least.

Don't be discouraged - 3 lbs isn't necessarily a gain of fat - sometimes your body is just adjusting to "stuff"... you've done really well.... hang in....
