I saw the Dr. today, and we came to an agreement that my husband and I will try the life change first with getting on a correct diet and more exercise, crossing my fingers that we will loose the weight.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Any weight you lose now will only make the surgery easier and safer for you should you go that route, too. Good luck!!

Good luck to you and your husband. We do have some people here who have done well with diet and exercise to lose weight. I could lose the weight a few times only to gain it back plus a few more. I had the RNY and it was the right choice for me, it has changed my life for the better, but it is not for everyone. Just make your mind up to stick to a good program and hand in here with us. Everyone here is so helpful whatever you choose.

Good luck. It will take a lot of hard work and patience, but if you can do it, it will be worth all the sweat and tears.

Thanks for all the encourgement, Im now fighting to stop gaining weight and start loosing. This is the second time I tried the diet way of loosing weight, and hopefully this time I can keep it off, as the first time I tried I lost only 15 pounds and then gained it all back plus 5 pounds. I told the doctor about this but he said that I was doing weight watchers wrong and that I will loose with his plan. Since I started his plan last friday I have gained another 3 pounds, but he also told me that for insurance to help me (if I need surgery) I have to follow his program. Im disappointed in my self but Im not eatting to cover it up like I would of done in the past, Im trying to find other things to keep me busy and my mind on other things besides food.
