Default Weight loss questions

My 18 year old daughter is 5'1" and 130 trying to lose 10 pounds. She is following the weight watchers plan and burning approximately 1000 calories a day either, running, eliptical, or walking. She has not lost a pound and is very frustrated. Does anyone have ideas? She has been doing this for about a month now.
Thanks

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Is she getting in enough water? She should be trying for a minimum of 64 oz a day. Maybe that will help. I am sure if she is sticking to the diet and excercise plan she is losing inches if not pounds.
Give her an encouraging hug from me♥

How many calories a day is she eating? If she's eating 3000 and burning 1000 she still has a net of 2000, which is probably too much. It's also ging to depend on her height and weight.

Here's a great site to learn more about what she should be eating:
MyPyramid.gov - United States Department of Agriculture - Home

I lost 157 pounds on Weight Watchers once and learned a lot. If she is doing the point system and is getting a lot of exercise she may need to up her points per day, They used to have a slide rule that you found your points and then put in how much exercise you were doing and it told you how many extra points to eat. If you are not eating enough and getting lots of exercise your body will shut down and think that you are starving it and you will not lose any weight. If she would speak to the leader and explain her situation they should be able to help her. That happened to me and I stopped walking 2 miles seven days a week and went to every other day and I started losing weight again. I then put all of my 157 pounds plus another 100 on after my mother died real quick 8 years ago so I elected to have the surgery which has worked out great for me. Weight Watchers in my opinion is a great program if you stick 100% to it.
