Default How long would it take to drop 40 pounds.

I really need to lose like 40 pounds, and I was wondering how long that would take. I know I know I did not gain it overnight so I can not lose it over night , so I am just trying to get a time line.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Everyone is different, and they lose at their own pace, so I cannot tell you when to expect the 40 pound loss. Just wanted to wish you good luck.

Everyone loses differently.
Don't rush it, but don't give up when you stall. You must be patient and persistent.
FYI.
Botzz lost 230 in 2 1/2 years.
sue4491 lost 110 in 2 years.
johnita 100 in 10 months.
I'd say 8-10lbs per month on a really good comprehensive and structured weight loss program. Weight Watchers, South Beach, Atkins all will work but you need to be consistent with sticking to the program even when the scale seems stuck.

Ahhh....deep fried stuff will stall you however you try to get around it. I'd say any decent program will NOT include fries, at least not on a regular basis. Once in a blue moon, maybe.

I wish I could get over my love for fires, but they are the only good thing in my life.

Fries are also why you gained the weight you want to lose, sigh....have you thought aboout baking them when you just gotta have them...perhaps a brush of oil on them so and some paparika and slip into the oven...I do this with quartered potatoes and it is actually very good...potatoes are healthy its what you put on them that makes the calories....Since WLS I dont have the craving or desire for potatoes as I use to...occasional baker or thrown in oven like I said above...but remember anything is in moderation to be healthy for you...good luck...Annie~

Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

Sorry you name just made me think of that song .

I have tried to bake them, that just does not do it for me. I have changed to grilling a lot of my chicken not all of it. Wings from the bar (while not good for me rocks), but I want to lose it to shut mt family up. I mean always getting on me about my pounds. I mean dang. If I was a teen girl I would have want ano by now.

Well one thing honey I have to ask is do you drink any alchol. That is a big thing to add the weight on. Lots of calories in any of drinks including beer. Beef eaten lean is not gonna bother you and is good in protein and we eat alot of protein here. The same with pork and chicken. Choose the lean stuff and eat up.

Like any other thing weight loss attempt any one make including us..... its what you eat and the amout of excersise you do. I all boils down to just that. Men do lose it faster. Good luck.

It sucks your family is on you for your weight, hopefully its for health reasons....Have you tried Weight Watchers , I honestly think its the most well rounded diet out there that can work a lifetime..you can count points and have those fries sometimes or a junior burger etc..its all on how you want to use your points....just an idea...good luck hunAnnie~
