Weight Loss Method Weight Watchers | I have finally made up my mind to go see a weight loss doctor because I am tiring of being tiring and can't walk far because my back hurt so bad. I have being going for the past couples of weeks to physical therpy for my fibromyalgia. I loss 55 pounds in the last two months. I am going to take the lap-band because my pcp thinks it is best way for me. There might still be something wrong with my heart. Just keep me in your prays. I have like 65lbs. of fulid on my feets and legs. I am still trusting in god to take care of everything that is going on with my body.

| Super Moderator | ((((((HUGS))))) Discuss your status thoroughly with the bariatric surgeon, they may have ideas different from what your PCP suggests, so be open to all information and suggestions, as you are the one to decide what you need to do to regain your health. Other than lap band and bypass, sleeve gastrectomy is being offered more often these days as another choice, so there's another option there. Anyway, do a lot of search and research, so when you finally make your choice, you can be sure that it was the right one for you. Wishing you the best of everything.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I would also ask about the "switch" surgery (duodenal switch). The weight loss on this is the highest percentage (people lose more with this one than any other procedure), and given your co-morbidities, it could be an better answer. Not all doctors perfom this procedure, but it's worth checking all the options! |
